Image via WikipediaThis month I've taken a vacation from Facebook and I've been directing my attention towards Twitter and my favorite writing forum. The other day I griped on Twitter about some trouble I was having with StumbleUpon, the wonderful toolbar up there on my browser that lets me "stumble" random sites within a designated category.
What's been happening is I'll set my StumbleUpon category to "Writing" and it keeps showing me pages about architecture or interior design or the NFL. I like all those things but not when I'm looking for new writing blogs.
Well wouldn't you know, StumbleUpon's people actually respond to tweets addressed to them. We had a little chat and now they want to send me a StumbleUpon tee shirt. How cool is that? I'm always a sucker for some swag.
